My current research goals are to elucidate the roles of Beta-amyloid protein and proteoglycans in the etiology of Alzheimer's disease (AD) and to provide screening tools for the development of new therapeutic and preventive agents for AD. We are producing new lines of transgenic mice to create animal models for AD.
