The bachelor of fine arts degree is the undergraduate professional degree for studio art in the UAB Department of Art and Art History. These exhibitions are the pinnacle of achievement for those students accepted into the BFA program at UAB. The BFA exhibition typically represents a wide range of artistic mediums and disciplines, showcasing the best work from graduating undergraduate students.

AEIVA is open to the public Monday - Friday, 10 am to 6 pm; Saturday, noon to 6 pm. AEIVA is closed on Sundays.

AEIVA houses the Art and Art History department, three University galleries, a lecture hall that holds up to 64 seats, and an atrium that can accommodate up to 100 individuals.
