The UAB Black Student Awareness Committee has planned a month of campuswide eventsto celebrate the cultural contributions of African-Americans.  The events include a healthy soul-food demonstration, the 22nd Annual Camille Armstrong Memorial Step Show, screenings of “A Huey P. Newton Story” and “The Help,” a discussion on the history of black music, a free, public lecture by award-winning author and actor Hill Harper and more. For more information, call 205-934-8225.
