Dr. Lim is an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice. Prior to joining the department, Dr. Lim was an Assistant Professor of the School of Law Enforcement and Justice Administration, Western Illinois University (2010-2013) and a Research Specialist at the Bill Blackwood Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas (LEMIT) from 2007 to 2010. She also served as an Adjunct faculty member at the College of Criminal Justice, Sam Houston State University (2008-2009).

Dr. Lim’s research interests include police use of force, police organizational behavior, and program and policy evaluation. Her work has been published in such journals as Policing: An International Journal of Police Management & Strategies, Police Practice and Research: An International Journal, and Journal of Interpersonal Violence.
