How to Apply
UAB music scholarships are based on individual auditions before the music faculty. If you are interested in becoming a music major, you should attend one of the department's major audition days, which will automatically allow you to be considered for one or more scholarships.
UAB's Undergraduate Music Degrees
The UAB Department of Music offers three bachelor's degrees to students:
- Bachelor of Arts - Applied Music
- Bachelor of Arts with a Concentration in Music Technology
- Bachelor of Arts with a Concentration in Music Education — Instrumental or Vocal/Choral
We also offer minors in Music and Music Technology.
