CORE FACILITIES / CORE SERVICES The CFAR Core facilities support and promote multidisciplinary HIV/AIDS research efforts that would not be possible within the confines of individual laboratories. Please contact core leadership directly to learn about core facilities and request services directly. Behavioral Science and Prevention Core The oversight for CFAR cores and services is provided by the Administrative Core. This core is the central organizational entity that assures efficient and effective operations to fulfill our mission to support local/UAB investigators in the conduct of multidisciplinary, cutting-edge HIV research. The Administrative Core provides HIV/AIDS relevant scientific leadership, strategic planning, fiscal management, scientific communication and community outreach services.
