Birmingham Parent held their first Special Needs Expo on March 9, 2011, from 2-7 p.m. at the Lakeshore Foundation Fieldhouse.  The Expo was presented by Lakeshore Foundation and Children's Hospital of Alabama and grew out of a need for information about services and products aimed at children with special needs to be made more readily available for parents and caregivers.  The Expo was a major success!  Sparks Clinics was an exhibitor.  Faculty and trainees who volunteered to answer questions and pass out information during the expo were LaTamia Green, Alvin Vogtle, Kristi Guest, Marjorie Bounds, Mary Wojnaroski, Kristie Ford, Valisia Davis, and Mindy Nelson.  Birmingham Parent is already hoping to hold an expo in Fall 2011!
