The NSF REU program is open only to United States Citizens and permanent residents of the United States. The REU program will pay a $4,000 stipend for the ten week period, plus additional support for travel, housing and other expenses.

The grant is made possible by The Alabama Space Grant Consortium (ASGC) Research Experiences for Undergraduates, the Division of Materials Research, and the National Science Foundation.
