At the annual CONBLS meeting that was held in Atlanta on October 15, Beverly Shattuck, CONBL Awards Chair, presented the Distinguished Library Award 2006 to Tom Singarella (director) for the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Library and Biocommunications Center "in recognition of the development and success of the Tennessee Health Information Consortium (THIC)."
