The UAB African American Faculty Association will host the Jumping the Train: An Extraordinary True Story book discussion. The discusion will feature Charles D. Avery, Jr., Civil Rights Trailblazer and Dina V. Avery, Ph.D, Assistant Professor, UAB School of Health Professions and Associate Scientist, UAB Minority Health & Health Equity Research Center.
"Jumping the Train: An Extraordinary True Story" book discussion will take place on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at 11:30 AM in the Mervyn Sterne Library, Room 174. Lunch will be provided for the first 40 attendees.
The book discussion is free and open to the public.
