Where can I use my meal plan? Meals can be used to purchase all-you-care-to-eat meals at the Commons on the Green for dinner seven nights a week and for Brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Meals can also be used to purchase Meal Deals during breakfast and lunch at the Commons on the Green and at the Diner and Blazer Cafe during all hours of operation. What are Meal Deals?Meal Deals are specially designed combo meals available at all stations in the Commons on the Green and at the Diner and Blazer Cafe. One Meal is debited from the student’s account for each Meal Deal purchased. What are the dining requirements that may apply to me?
What is the difference between meal plans and dining dollars? The Meal Plans come with a set number of Meals that can be used to purchase all-you-care-to-eat meals and Meal Deals at specific UAB dining facilities. The Dining Dollars account is a declining balance account used for accessing Campus Dining Fee funds. Dining Dollars can be used for food purchases at all UAB dining facilities. How do I know which account to use?For all-you-care-to-eat dinners and weekend brunches at the Commons, use a Meal to pay your entrance fee. If you are dining at a location that offers Meal Deals (the Commons on the Green, the Diner, and Blazer Cafe), you can use a Meal to purchase a Meal Deal. Otherwise, Dining Dollars should be used for all a la cart purchases. How can I change my meal plan? After the last day to add a class you can request a meal plan upgrade by emailing the CampusCard office at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
