 Help UAB Campus Restaurants as we support those in need this holiday season! We are taking part in a national food drive that other universities across the country. The goal is to collected canned or dry goods for the local food banks that provide meals to those in need in the Birmingham area. How can you help? Purchase a $5 Helping Hands Donation bag at the Commons on the Green, Blazer Cafe, the Diner or Simply to Go in the BEC now through November 20th. We will use the funds collected to donate dry goods including: rice, spaghetti, canned fruit, canned vegetables, spaghetti sauce, etc. All donated items will go to Magic City Harvest, a local food bank that services homeless shelters and food lines through out the area. We will happily accept any canned or dry goods to be donated.
