The deadline for submitting changes for the printed UAB Directory is set for  Oct. 31 2008. While it is important that contact information is accurate throughout the year, on Oct 31, 2008, a snapshot of the online directory will be taken and sent to the publisher for use in printing the 2009 UAB Directory. Therefore, it is of utmost importance that BOTH the individual listings located in Section D of the Directory and the departmental information listed in the Directory Section E is accurate.

• UAB employees needing to make changes to their individual listings, including UAB office addresses and UAB phone numbers, MUST contact their departmental Oracle officer and a Data Change form  MUST be submitted in Oracle and processes through all approval paths, prior to the Oct 31st deadline.
  Please note while all personal information can be viewed from the Oracle Self-Service module, only changes to main/home address may be updated within Self-Service.


• HSF employees wanting to change their office phone number(s) and/or their office address must contact an HR specialist in the Human Resource Center at 731-9600.

Additionally, each department/unit has an official directory contact that can assist in making departmental updates and edits. Lists of all official directory contacts and related links have been posted off of the main UAB home page at http://www.uab.edu/directoryinfo.
