Dr. Mubina Shaik is a postdoctoral research fellow within Prof. Kathy Lu's Group. Her current research focuses on several key areas, including the synthesis of MXene/SiOC composites via a polymer-derived route. Additionally, her work involves integrating experimental analysis and DFT modelling, studying the thermal and tribological performance of SiOC and its composites, and exploring the processing of high-temperature non-oxide ceramics.
