An Index of Hone Correspondence

This page contains an incomplete but growing index of correspondence to, from, and (in a few cases) about Hone.   The entries are organized chronologically where ever possible, though I have found some items difficult to date with any precision.  These latter items have been combined into the "undated" category.  Most letters are accompanied by a brief description of their contents; some offer more extended quotations and commentary.

• Hackwood -- Printed in Frederick Hackwood's 1912 biography of Hone

• PRO -- Public Record Office, London.  PRO entries will be followed by the conventional class abbreviation
• WSU -- Hone Papers, Washington State University, Pullman, Washington
