Biography

 

Dr. Ron Braswell is a native of Grenada, Mississippi. He received Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Delta State University in 1982. After medical school and residency training, he was in private practice from 1990-1997. After a Neuro-Ophthalmology fellowship at the Dean A. McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City, he returned to private practice in Starkville, MS till joining the faculty at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in 2002. He joined the faculty at UAB in August of 2004. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association, and the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society.
