Biography

 

Jennifer Scruggs, M.D., was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, she earned her medical degree and graduated with honors from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She completed her internship at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, followed by her ophthalmology residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Her fellowship training, sponsored by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS), took place in New York City. She worked with specialists at New York University, Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital, The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, and Columbia University. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Clinical Care

 

Her practice is focused on the surgical treatment of eyelid, lacrimal (tear duct), and orbital (eye socket) disorders in both adults and children.   Her practice includes both reconstructive and cosmetic surgery.
