Maggie Davis. Maggie Davis is an Office Associate II in the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures.  She came to UAB in 1998 after a career with the Federal Government that took her to 10 states in the continental U.S., Hawaii and Europe.   While working full-time, she attended the University of Alabama, Honolulu Community College, and UAB, with a major interest in History and English.   Maggie enjoys the diverse faculty, students and languages in the department which makes it such an interesting and fun place to work.

She has been passionately conducting Genealogy research for the last 25 years and had one article published detailing her family history.   She travels whenever possible, reads voraciously, and attempts to see the newest movie releases.  Maggie studied Italian for one semester and hopes to increase her knowledge and fluency in that language in the future.
