Be With Me, the new film by Eric Khoo, is a tapestry of stories woven around the themes of love, hope and destiny. The characters lead separate lives but are bound by one common desire - to be with their loved one. The protagonists in the movie are fictitious bar one - Theresa Chan, a courageous deaf and blind woman whose life story inspired. Be With Me was Best Film at the prestigious Berlin Film Festival. It was also in the official selection for the Cannes Film Festival - Director’s Fortnight Opening Film. It won the Asian Film Award--Special Mention at the Tokyo International Film Festival (2005), received the FIPRESCI Prize for Best Film and Best Cinematography award at the Stockholm Film Festival (2005). © Zhao Wei Films
