FLMS Video Check-out Policy
The FLMS makes available to students and instructors a wide variety of foreign films which may be ckecked out according to the following policies:
FEE: Video Rental is FREE, however; a one-time deposit of $20.00 (checks only) will be required to check out movies from the Foreign Language Media Services' video collection. Deposit may be refunded should desire to not check out films in the future.
FEE POLICY: Students wishing to check out movies may leave their deposit in form of a check with the staff of the Foreign Language Media Services. Students will make the check out to Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures. Students will sign their names to a document stating that they understand the obligations of checking out and returning the films. One late return will result in a warning; two late returns will result in the forfeiture of the deposit and a loss of borrowing privileges. In addition, any student who does not return a film within ten days will be responsible for reimbursing the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures any additional costs above the deposit required to replace the film.
CHECKOUT POLICY: Students are entitled to check out two films at a time for a period of 5 days, maximum. NO EXCEPTIONS.
