UAB Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures Hosts International Literature Conference in Madrid.
In July 9-12, 2004, in Madrid, Spain, the UAB Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures co-hosted the III Congreso Internacional – Madrid en la literatura española, iberoamericana y universal (III International Congress – Madrid in Spanish, Latin American and World Literature) with the Asociación Hispánica de Humanidades. The event was co-directed by Hispanists Dr. Sheri Spaine Long, Chair of the UAB Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures, and Dr. Enrique Ruiz-Fornells, Emeritus Professor of the Department of Romance Languages, University of Alabama.
