New Chinese & Japanese Minor Announced!
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures is excited to announce two new minor programs. Students can now earn a Minor in Chinese or a Minor in Japanese. Interested students should visit the DFLL website for more information about the program and faculty. Professor Lily Yang will be advising Chinese Minors and Professor Masako Cook is advising those wishing to minor in Japanese. Literatures is excited to congratulate Professor Belita Faki and Dr. John K. Moore! The Department of Foreign Languages & Literatures celebrates Homecoming 2007!
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Foreign Language and Literatures Department celebrated Homecoming 2007 by creating a banner that represents the languages taught by the department. We would like to thank all of the students that helped with the banner . . . we could not have done it without you! We were able to capture a few students in action, such as Blair Farley, Katie Francher, Christel Carlisle, Katie McClung, Tammy Adams, and Taylor Heaton. We were also fortunate to have faculty participation from Dr. John Moore, Dr. Lamia Zayzafoon, Xinxin Ma, and Tommy Skinner.
