You need JavaScript enabled to view it RESEARCH DESCRIPTION Drosophila, Behavioral genetics, Molecular genetics of sex determination, Computational biology, Developmental toxicology, Genomics BIOGRAPHY Dr. Mark Garfinkel is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences. He received his B.A. degree from Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT in 1980. He moved to Pasadena, CA where he completed his Ph.D. degree in 1988 at California Institute of Technology. Dr. Garfinkel received his postdoctoral training at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio and the University of Chicago, Chicago, Illinois from 1988-1993 in Drosophila molecular and developmental genetics. He joined the UAB faculty in 2001. |
