Research Interests

Systemically administered gene therapy vectors are limited by their inefficient escape from the vasculature, non-specific adsorption to hematopoietic cells, sequestration in the liver, or immunological neutralization. We are evaluating various hematopoietic cell lineages as vehicles for shielding Ad vectors from inactivation, and for targeting their release to therapeutically relevant sites.
