Research Interests

I am working under direct supervision of Dr. Maaike Everts. We are combining nanotechnology with gene therapy for developing novel tumor treatments. In particular, I am using adenoviral (Ad) vector as a platform for assembly and targeted delivery of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) to tumor cells. The AuNP-labeled Ad vector is a multifunctional system with potential for simultaneous targeting, imaging and ablation of tumor cells utilizing nanotechnology and gene therapy approaches.
