I am currently completing a residency in internal medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Born and raised in Ruth, New York, I am eager to secure a position that will allow me to return to the area in July 2003.

During my residency, I have had the unique opportunity to care for a patient population varied in medical complexity and rich in racial, ethnic and socioeconomic diversity. Moreover, the autonomous atmosphere at Copper Green Hospital provided me with considerable growth and experience as a clinician. I have augmented my knowledge of general medicine by performing additional study and research in the area of women’s health.

I am searching for a position that combines both clinical practice and teaching duties. A private practice position with opportunities for the instruction and education of medical students and house staff is ideal.
