BREAKING NEWS: The Supreme Court stated on June 26, 2017 that individuals from Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen who have a “credible claim of a bona fide relationship” with a US educational institution (such as being admitted to US university, having a US job offer, or having a research relationship) can still enter the US. UAB does not anticipate any problems or delays with admitted students and invited scholars and employees from these countries entering the US. Please contact the ISSS Office at isss@uab.edu with specific questions or concerns.
