We think you made a wise decision in choosing UAB. The university offers myriad services and support mechanisms to help you succeed in your academic career. We urge you to take advnatage of all the university has to offer.

For starters, you may have already decided on a major. However, if you are not sure of your major, the Division of General Studies wants to help you make a sound decision in choosing your major.

If you choose to remain undeclared in a choice of a major, you can explore your options with your advisor in the Division of General Studies.  Your advisor can help you choose courses that meet degree requirements and work with you to clarify your interests and goals.
