Leadership Courses

GCL students take a three-hour GCL Leadership seminar: “Thinking Locally and Globally”. This class trains them in moderation techniques needed to conduct community forums. It also includes basic training in project planning and collaborative action. Next, students take the three-hour Honors College Leadership course that culminates in the implementation and assessment of a group-based leadership project defined in conjunction with the community of focus.
