	The First Floor Includes a lobby atrium and the expanded emergency department with 45 private exam rooms, 4 procedure rooms, and comfortable seating areas.		The Fifth Floor Houses 18 operating rooms and the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit as well as an outdoor healing garden.
	The Sixth Floor Tour the new Heart and Vascular Center's Patient Room, Procedure Lab, Recovery Area and Waiting Room.		The Seventh Floor Houses 22 Operating rooms as well as pre-op, PACU, and the Surgical Intensive Care Unit.
	The Eighth Floor Is home to the Neurological Intensive Care Unit, a 20 bed Orthopedic Unit, and spacious private patient rooms.		The Ninth Floor Contains a 28 bed Trauma/Burn Intensive Care Unit, a 28 bed Acute Care Ward and another 20 bed Orthopedic Unit.
	Rooftop Helipad UAB is the only adult "level one" trauma center in north central Alabama. The rooftop helipad accommodates life-saving helicopters.
