Blackboard Basic Training
Blackboard Basic is the first in a 2-part series of training modules designed to aid instructors and professors in the College of Arts and Sciences as they build courses and teach utilizing the University wide learning management system, Blackboard Learn 9. This first module builds the foundation of working with Blackboard Learn by reviewing functions and tools available to users. There are multiple ways to successfully complete Blackboard Basic Training. The key is to pick the best format for you and jump in to online learning.
- Online Training – This can be completed by any faculty member who prefers the convenience of working at their own pace within the comfort of their home office or UAB office.
- Individual Training - This option is for faculty members who prefer an individual meeting with a member of the i2T2 Team. After meeting with a team member, the faculty can continue the training by going into the online version and completing the Exit Exam.
- Small Group Training – This type of training setting is available for departments or other small groups who prefer a 2 hour overview of Bb Learn 9.1. Following this presentation, faculty can continue the training by going into the online version and completing the Exit Exam.
