IEM Full Tuition Competitive Scholarship

Included: Full tuition and fees for all required courses of the IEM degree as long as the client maintains a 3.0 GPA. 

Who is eligible:  New IEM clients with a completed application packet before May 1.  Clients are not required to be Alabama residents.

Requirements: Clients must write a short essay and e-mail to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it by May 1 detailing what kind of financial assistance they will receive while in the program and why they need to be awarded this scholarship.

Essay Format:  Less than 1 page, single spaced. Include your name and contact information on the essay page. Attach the final draft to an email as a pdf. Send to the above email address. No word count or length requirement, but don't go over 1 page.

Deadline: May 1. All UAB admissions paperwork must be complete & essay received by this date.

Value: The scholarship is valued at over $24,000.

IEM Admissions Scholarship

IEM is offering scholarships for those that complete their admissions paperwork early!

Who is eligible:  All new Fall 2013 clients with a complete application by the dates listed below. Clients are not required to be Alabama residents.  This scholarship is a one-time, lump sum scholarship payable in September of the Fall 2013 semester.

Scholarship amount is determined by application completion date:
January 1: $1,000 scholarship
March 1: $750 scholarship
May 1: $500 scholarship

NOTE: A complete application is defined as having all paperwork submitted to the Graduate School by the posted deadlines as detailed on the IEM Admissions page as well as the YouTube video.  The admissions committee will review all applications and official notification of scholarship awards will be made after admission to IEM.
