Online support for Blackboard is offered by your designated role within the Blackboard environment (Instructor/Designer or Student).

Technical Problems
Most technical problems that occur when using Blackboard Vista are due to computer setup problems. To learn how to properly setup your computer, please choose the computer setup guide for your computer located here.

Blackboard Vista System Maintenance Plan
In order to maintain the most current and up-to-date course management system, regularly scheduled system maintenance is required. Generally maintenance is conducted only on the third Saturday of each month. Check the Announcements tab on this site for details on each scheduled maintenance event.
Small - Moderate Blackboard Vista Maintenance
Performed on Saturday between midnight and 7 am, the third Saturday of odd numbered months.
Large Blackboard Vista Maintenance
Performed on Saturday between midnight and 12 noon, the third Saturday of even numbered months.
Emergency Maintenance
While all attempts will be made to perform maintenance within the Small and Large windows listed above, emergency maintenance may be required at other times. Where possible a 48 hour notice prior to the outage will be announced to users, but this may not be possible for all emergency situations. Such events should occur only on a limited basis.
