The materials on this site are organized according to a user's role in a particular Blackboard Vista course. Use the buttons on the left to find the information you need based on whether you are an instructor, a designer, or a student. If you are already familiar with how Blackboard Vista works at UAB and have prepared your computer for the first time, feel free to proceed straight to Login.

FIRST TIME USERS: If you are logging in to Blackboard Vista for the first time, it is necessary that you prepare your computer. Most of the problems people face when using Blackboard Vista can be solved easily by doing a browser tune-up and adding plug-ins before trying to log in the first time. Follow the instructions in Getting Started, and you will be ready. You can find the Getting started section by using the buttons on the left of this screen.
