How do I configure LDAP Directory Services in Outlook XP?
- Open Outlook.
- Select E-mail Accounts from the Tools drop-down
menu.

- In the E-mail Accounts window, select “Add
a new directory or address book” and click Next.
- Select Internet Directory Service (LDAP) and click Next.

- For the Server Name enter ldap.uab.edu.

- Then click on More Settings and enter dc=uab,dc=edu in the
Search base field. Leave all other settings in the default state.

- Lastly, click Apply, OK, Next,
and Finish.
To use the UAB Hospital directory service, repeat the steps above with the following
entries.
- Server Name: gw5.uabmc.edu
- Search base: o=uab
