Alabama LASER targets inquiry-based science
learning. In an inquiry classroom,
students learn to think, solve problems, work on teams, manage information, and
use technology - many of the skills needed in today's workplace. The science
classroom can be a vibrant place where students are learning science in a way
that also prepares them to be effective employees and informed adults.
Alabama LASER brings together administrators, teachers, and community members from participating school systems and supports these leadership teams as they implement inquiry-based science using hands-on, field-tested curricula.
