LHL SPOTLIGHT

When you want someone to find a book that is REALLY lost, who do you call??
Greg Tarrant
When you need someone to sub in Interlibrary Loan, who do you call??  Greg Tarrant
When you need someone to run a Circulation report in Horizon, who do you call??  Greg Tarrant
When you need someone to. well, you get the idea.

Greg Tarrant is a Library Assistant III in the Access Services unit.  He graduated from Ensley High School in 1973 and from Lawson State Community College with an associate degree in Criminal Justice.  He is currently taking courses at UAB.  As you can see from the list above, Greg can do just about anything around the Library.  Currently, Greg's main responsibility is the book collection on the second floor.  Greg plans and implements shelving, inventory and shifting projects.

However, most customers know Greg by his mischievous smile and sense of humor.  Greg is a no nonsense, cut-to-the-chase guy who also loves to laugh.  His winning ways and extensive knowledge of the Library and its resources make Greg a good guy to have around.  At least at the Library.  You will have to check with his wife Vanessa about home where she rules and the "Honey Do" lists are long.
