May/June 2001LONGER LIBRARY HOURSLister Hill Library has decided to extend its hours. This decision was based on the request of patrons. Many are medical students and doctors with irregular schedules. They cannot always use the library during normal operating hours. Over the years, many patrons have complained that they cannot fully benefit from the library because the library closed too early or opened too late. Many medical students said they found it difficult to visit the library during normal hours because they had classes during the day and jobs in the afternoon or at night. Doctors and interns, especially have very odd hours working in the hospital and cannot leave to visit the library when they are on call. Therefore, Lister Hill Library has responded by extending its hours of operation and many patrons have said they are very grateful for that. |
