January/February 1998New Year, New PlansHappy New Year and welcome back to students, faculty and staff! The new year promises to be an exciting one for Lister Hill Library as we tackle such projects as the IAIMS grant, cooperative ventures with other departments on campus and the Birmingham Public Library system, and strategic planning within our own unit. We look forward to working on these projects of ours, as we look forward to helping you with yours! We know that you will have plenty of your own goals to accomplish over the next year, and we hope that you will keep us in mind as a resource to help you achieve those goals. In addition to our print and electronic resources, we have a diverse and experienced staff available for customized literature searches, document delivery, research consultation and teaching. We also have a new physical facility with group study rooms, a 30-station microcomputer lab, and a state-of-the-art electronic classroom. We hope that you will take advantage of these resources, and, most of all that you will have a terrific 1998! |
