Lister Hill Library Hosts PubMed Classes in Electronic Classroom

In June of last year, the National Library of Medicine(NLM) announced free Web-based access to MEDLINE through its new search system, PubMed. Following the announcement, a training program was implemented to train health sciences librarians and other potential searchers to use the new system. A minimum of 30 classes were scheduled at various locations including the NLM and other qualified sites throughout the country. Lister Hill Library (LHL) was invited to be a host site and on April 15 - 17 PubMed classes were held in LHL's new electronic classroom.
