November/December 1999LHL STAFF MEMBERS ATTEND SOUTHERN CHAPTER / MLASeveral members of Lister Hill Library's staff attended the annual meeting of the Southern Chapter of the Medical Library Association held in Greenville, South Carolina, October 15 - 19. Members participating in events were: Nancy Clemmons, Past Chair/Nominating Committee; Linda Flavin, Membership Database Manager; Sondra Pfeiffer, Southern Expressions Co-Editor; Patricia Higginbottom, Webmaster; and Tracy Powell, Professional Development Committee. Joan Lukins, Jack Smith and Nancy Clemmons presented the paper, "MedTrain: Trials and Successes of Training Rural Health Professionals." T. Scott Plutchak was the first recipient of the newly established Academic Librarian of the Year award. He received a certificate and $250. |
