November/December 1999WEB FORMSAs you rush through your day, trying to get everything done, you may find you don't have time to come to the library. Still you need research on your topic or you need to get a copy of that article. Don't forget you can use the web to request information or services from the library. From the library home page choose, Electronic Forms or go directly to http://www.uab.edu/lister/libserv.htm. From this web page you can send your questions or comments to library staff. You can request a copy of an article from journals we have using the Document Delivery form or from journals we don't have using the Interlibrary Loan form. You can register for library classes. You can even recommend books and journals you'd like the library to add to its collection. Our newest form allows you to request a search to be done by a reference librarian on your particular topic. Web requests are treated as any other request, and are handled in the same professional manner and with care. Any questions about web forms can be directed to 934-2230. |
