Instructional Technology
The Instructional Technology Center is an educational software evaluation and distance learning consultation facility for use by UAB faculty, staff, and students. This facility will investigate and evaluate new technologies as they emerge and will assist the faculty in applying these new hardware and software systems to distributed learning applications, such as Blackboard. The role of the Center is to provide a technical support foundation that the faculty can use to launch an online course or to augment an existing course with online course material.
