Most return appointments are scheduled when you check out. If the need arises, you can reschedule or cancel an appointment by telephoning the receptionist at (205) 934-1917 and press option "2".
If you are running late, please call the Clinic. If you are more than 20 minutes late and have not notified the Clinic, it may be necessary to reschedule your appointment for another time. The decision to reschedule will be made by your physician or nurse practitioner.
It is very important that you call and let the receptionist know when you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment. By letting the Clinic know in advance that you cannot be present at the appointed time, the Clinic can reschedule another patient in your place.
If you miss three (3) consecutive appointments without notifying the Clinic prior to the time of your visit, you will be required to talk to the Administrative Director of the Clinic to get permission to make any future appointments.
Reinstatement will take place only after successfully resolving your situation to the satisfaction of the Administrative Director. You should then expect to wait at least several weeks before another appointment can be scheduled.
