Call For Application

Research Seed Grants  -  Beginning October 1, 2012, the Environmental and Translational Medicine Program will fund two $15,000 seed grants for pilot projects at UAB that encompass some broad aspect of environmental science.  It is hoped that funding of these small pilot projects will produce all important initial data that gives researchers a leg up on future research grant applications to other funding sources. Those eligible to apply for the seed grants include UAB faculty, fellows, residents, postdoctoral fellows, graduate and undergraduate students.  Deadline for submission is September 4, 2012.  Award notification will be made on September 7, 2012.
