Welcome to the Division of Cardiovascular Disease. Our division has nearly 50 clinical and research faculty from all over the world that call UAB home. What you will find here is a growing and innovative group of individuals who collaborate across our campus and beyond for our mission to provide world class cardiovascular care for everyone.

How do we accomplish this? We start by developing integrated care teams and organizing our work around the patient. This manner is a focus of our Cardiovascular Institute. We want to integrate cardiovascular research into every aspect of our practice. We do so by the Cardiovascular Institute.

We want to build an environment for our trainees and early-career physicians and scientists to be inspired and direct their success. After all, they're the future of our innovation.

I would like to point out to all of you that UAB Cardiovascular Disease really is high performing in so many areas of what we do. I look to the accomplishments within our eletrophysiology group, structural, interventional cardiology, advanced heart failure transplant, women's cardiovascular health, adult congenital heart disease, cardio oncology, hypertension, and cardio genomics.

I joined UAB because of the profound dedication that I see every day from the staff, the faculty and the institutional leaders. I encourage you to come take a look.
