Professor Emeritus
Dr. Johnson serves as Professor of Medicine at UAB, and a clinical physician in the Faculty practice located in the Kirklin Clinic. He received his medical degree Medical College of Virginia, and completed fellowship training in gastroenterology at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, in Washington D.C.
He is Board certified in both internal medicine and gastroenterology and his current clinical interests are in the treatment of general gastroenterological diseases, esophageal and swallowing disorders.
