The UAB Foot and Ankle Fellowship was recently awarded a grant from the Orthopaedic Medical Grants Association.

The UAB Department of Orthopaedic Surgery’s comprehensive Foot and Ankle Fellowship program encourages trainees to get involved with every step of the clinical and surgical process. Fellows learn to treat a variety of orthopaedic issues ranging from detailed conservative management to reconstructive surgery. They also participate in weekly conferences, monthly journal clubs and clinical and basic science research.

The OMeGA Foot and Ankle fellowship grant will support the UAB Foot and Ankle Fellowship for one year, starting in August.
