Major Research Interests

    • Role of epigenetics (DNA methylation, histone acetylation/methylation, and micro RNA expression) in the abnormal overexpression of the CD154 gene (CD40-ligand) in adults and children with lupus.
    • Role of FoxP3 in blocking transcriptional activation of  HIV-LTR in regulatory T cells (Tregs)
    • Gene replacement therapy for X-linked Hyper-IgM Syndrome (CD154 deficiency)
