Janice Buffett started her career as a faculty secretary/supervisor for nine years in the School of Law at the University of Alabama.  She received a legal secretary’s certificate from Samford University and spent 20 years in the corporate workforce in a number of administrative positions.  As she ended her corporate career, her next venture was to return to an academic arena.  She has worked two years in the Pulmonary, Allergy & Critical Care Department here at UAB, but feels best suited in her current position at the School of Nursing.
